National Scholarship/Financial Aid Committee
The National Scholarship Committee will be made up of (FIVE) CISV members. Committee members and committee chair must apply to the Executive Director of CISV USA. The scholarship/financial aid committee will be responsible for the allocation determination of applicants. The committee will also be responsible for fundraising for national scholarship/financial aid. The ED will select the five taking into consideration a mix of chapters. Committee members and Committee chair will serve a three-year term and can renew for an additional three-year term.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work in a small group
- Interest in fundraising for scholarship/financial aid
- Ease in working cooperatively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures; adaptability
- Ability to self-motivate and work with minimal supervision

- Determine grant amount requests for CISV USA Finance submission
- Committee to select and notify chapters of financial aid awards for winter programs, if applicable

- Execute fundraising campaign.
- Create report that includes applicant requirement information and fundraising totals to share with membership.
