Rudie & Vickie Memmel Award
The Rudie & Vickie Memmel Award is given each year to an individual who best exemplifies the qualities of a committed CISV volunteer. The award was named after its first recipient, Rudie Memmel, a member of the Cincinnati Chapter. It was then given posthumously to recognize Rudie’s long years of quiet but substantial volunteer commitment to the Cincinnati Chapter. At the 2012 board meeting the award was renamed to include Rudie’s late wife, Vickie.

National Service Award
The National Service award is given to an individual that has rendered outstanding service to a National Committee, take force or a project for CISV USA, either on a single project or through service over a period of time. The National Service award is intended to honor a CISV volunteer whose efforts go beyond the normal duties performed by a CISV officer, committee chair, committee member or volunteer. The National Service award recognizes an individual’s extraordinary service at the national level of CISV USA.
