The Programs Department coordinator oversees the Village, Step Up, Seminar Camp, Youth Meeting, International People’s Project, and Mosaic committees and serves as a liaison between those committees and the Executive Director. He/she is selected by the Executive Director for a term of three years and can be reappointed for one additional three-year term. He/she may be a member of one of the program committees, but committee membership is not required. Specific duties include the following:
- Serve as the primary conduit between committees and the Executive Director. Convey committees’ concerns and issues to the Executive Director.
- Provide guidance to and troubleshoot for committee chairs in all matters related to hosting. Assist committee chairs directly or liaise with individuals experienced in the program.
- Collect and review Committee/Liaison Report Forms and Committee/Liaison Plan Forms. Submit forms to the Executive Director.
- Organize and conduct meetings between committee chairs and liaisons in order to coordinate strategic plan efforts and operational tasks.

- Facility with the electronic tools necessary to maintain communication with Department members, including scheduling and facilitating conference calls and on-line meetings.
