Position Overview
The Co-Hosting Chair leads CISV USA’s efforts to support, facilitate, and strengthen chapter-to-chapter co-hosting of domestic programs and international co-hosting programs. This role ensures that chapters understand the co-hosting process, have access to clear guidance, complete required documentation, and work collaboratively and effectively with one another and with the National Office.
The Co-Hosting Chair partners closely with the National Program Chair, National Office, National Risk Management, Chapter Presidents, and Program Planners to ensure that co-hosted programs meet CISV USA standards of safety, quality, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Co-Hosting Strategy & Oversight
- Serve as the national point person for all matters related to domestic co-hosting.
- Maintain and annually review CISV USA’s Co-Hosting policies, guidelines, forms, and templates.
- Educate chapters on the benefits, requirements, and expectations of co-hosting.
- Work with the National Program Chair to track chapter hosting cycles and identify when co-hosting may support chapter needs.
Time Commitment
- Approximately 5–8 hours per month, with additional time during program planning and agreement season (January–April).
- Attendance at national committee meetings and chapter development calls as relevant.
