CISV USA’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Committee is recruiting additional members to join our team!
The DEIA committee has been working tirelessly to understand the DEIA needs within our community and make progress towards finding and implementing solutions. Notable outcomes of committee efforts have been the 2022 and 2023 Census results from which we continue to learn about the current DEIA landscape of CISV USA and the work that needs to be done.
We have additionally been involved in important conversations around DEIA as risk management and LGBTQIA2S+ inclusion across programming. We continue to discuss the responsibilities and opportunities for our work and impact for the organization moving forward.
As we work towards our goals, we recognize the importance of expanding our team. We are seeking passionate individuals who are dedicated to promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility within CISV to join our committee. Your unique perspectives and contributions will be invaluable as we strive to create a structurally and authentically more inclusive and welcoming environment for all. We actively seek gender specialists or informed individuals to help advise our current endeavor of developing gender policies and guidelines to support chapters.
