The Seminar chair oversees Seminar Camp programs in the United States and is responsible for the selection of Seminar Camp participants selections. Responsibilities include the following:
- Assist Chapters in recruiting applicants for Seminar.
- Assist chapter planners to properly plan for the hosted Seminars
- Ensure that all participants are prepared for their experience through participating in National Training.
- Develop and administer the procedures and guidelines for planning, conducting, and evaluating Seminar Camps.
- Ensure that all USA-hosted Seminar Camps are evaluated.
- Coordinate, and lead the Seminar Camp committee in the selection of Seminar Camp participants.
- Undertake other matters as requested by the Executive Director.
COMMITTEE CHAIR QUALIFICATIONS
- Thorough knowledge of the Seminar Camp program.
- Commitment to and sufficient time for working closely with CISV USA host Chapters.
- Good communication and follow-through skills; commitment to responding promptly to questions and resolving issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Seminar Camp Committee, Executive Director, and Chapters to resolve issues.
