The Youth Meeting chair is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Youth Meeting program in the United States. Specific duties include the following:
- The main responsibilities of this role are to help support our chapter who are hosting Youth Meetings. Training is provided and the commitment typically ranges around 10 hours a month.
- Youth Meeting Chair will be responsible for evaluating CISV USA hosted Youth Meetings.
- Serve as a liaison between CISV USA and the International Educational Programs Regional Delivery Team.
- Undertake other matters as requested by the Executive Director.
COMMITTEE CHAIR QUALIFICATIONS
- Thorough knowledge of the Youth Meeting program.
- Commitment to and sufficient time for working closely with USA host Chapters.
- Good communication and follow-through skills; commitment to responding to questions and resolving issues promptly.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the International Educational Programs Regional Delivery Team, the Executive Director, and Chapters to resolve issues.
- Open-mindedness, flexibility, patience, resourcefulness, and a sense of humor.
